The story of Makeda and Solomon has captivated me for years. As a filmmaker and person of faith, I've always been drawn to stories that explore the intersection of the divine and the deeply human.
What struck me most about this ancient narrative was what often gets overlooked: the humanity behind the crowns. Two rulers, each bearing immense responsibility, each seeking wisdom and truth, finding in each other something rare and profound.

The Mission
My goal is to create a film that honors this story's place in multiple faith traditions while making it accessible and emotionally resonant for modern audiences. This is a story that belongs to Judaism, Christianity, Islam, and Ethiopian Orthodox tradition—and it deserves to be told with respect for all these perspectives.
More than that, I want to create something that reminds us of our shared humanity. In an age of division, the story of two rulers from different worlds finding common ground in their search for wisdom feels more relevant than ever.
